Hello, we’ve rolled out a new version of the SpatialOS CLI (
20190924.093427.d1d4ab159e) today containing the following changes:
- [Breaking change] Removed the
snapshot.startDeploymentFromSnapshotFilestring field from the FPL launch configuration file and added a new string field called
defaultSnapshotUploadFilepathto the FPL project configuration file. The new
defaultSnapshotUploadFilepathfield is functionally identical to and will replace the old
snapshot.startDeploymentFromSnapshotFilefield. For more information, please see: https://docs.improbable.io/reference/latest/shared/flexible-project-layout/introduction#changelog
spatial alpha cloud launchnow allows you to skip the step of uploading a snapshot before starting a deployment in case the
snapshot_read_idruntime flag is set in the launch configuration file and in case the snapshot you would like to use to start a deployment with already exists in the snapshot history corresponding to the name of the deployment you are about to start.
- Corrected a typo in the help description for the
--assemblyflag of the
spatial alpha cloud launchcommand.
- Improved the robustness of error logging. SpatialOS CLI will now log certain errors that previously weren’t logged.
These changes apply regardless of your SpatialOS SDK version once you’ve updated your CLI version.

spatial update from the command line. The latest version is
To revert the update, run
