When would GetLinkedGameObjects ever return more than 1 game object?

Why does LinkedGameObjectMap.GetLinkedGameObjects(some_entity_id) return a list? You can’t map two prefabs to one entity type and calling it on the client side would only return the client gameobject and same thing for server side. Would there ever be case where it would return more than one game object? If so, what would that case be?
